These Terms of Service govern the use of the online directory DeutscheUnternehmen.com (the "Platform"), operated by DeutscheUnternehmen.com (the "Operator").

DeutscheUnternehmen.com is an online directory of German-speaking and German-heritage businesses in the United States of America. The Platform allows you to:

• Search and discover businesses in the directory
• Submit a business listing free of charge (subject to approval)
• Write reviews for listed businesses
• Manage your own business profile

The Operator reserves the right to change, expand, or restrict the scope of services at any time.

Submitting and managing a business profile requires registration. You must provide truthful and complete information. Accounts are non-transferable.

Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

To be included in the directory, a business must meet the following requirements:

• Have a verifiable connection to the German-speaking community in the USA
• All information must be accurate, current, and complete
• Listings must not contain misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful content
• Duplicate listings are not permitted

The Operator reserves the right to decline or remove any listing without providing a reason.

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Upload content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
• Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) to collect data from the Platform
• Use the Platform for spam or unsolicited mass communications

The Operator makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of user-submitted business data. The Operator is only liable for damages caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

The Operator is not responsible for the content of linked external websites.

The Operator strives for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and technical outages do not give rise to claims against the Operator.

All content created by the Operator is protected by copyright. By submitting content, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, transferable license to use that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. Mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the user's country of residence remain unaffected.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
